Positive:
- Factories were built for increasing manufacturing
- Means of transportation other than walking were invented
- The lives of people were improved and became easier
- Medicines were invented and people lived longer
- More goods to chose from
Negative:
- An increase in pollution
- Children and women did all the work
- People got low payment for long hours or work
- An increase in population
